Contracts Transparency

Contracts Transparency

Contract transparency involves the public disclosure of contracts and agreements between governments and extractive companies. This practice aims to enhance accountability, reduce corruption, and ensure that citizens benefit from the country's natural resources. Globally, the EITI International Secretariat, sets standards and criteria for determination of EITI compliance by member countries. The EITI compliance is determined by a set of criteria and standards designed to promote transparency and accountability in the extractive sector
